PERSONAL INJURY

Matthew J. Bean brings over 14 years of litigation experience to the practice of personal injury. Mr. Bean represents individuals with moderate and serious injuries caused by motor vehicle collisions. While most personal injury cases settle without a need for filing a lawsuit, more and more, insurance companies are refusing to pay fair settlements. Therefore, all of our cases are handled, from the outset, as if they were going to trial. We spend the time consulting with our clients at the beginning of the case and throughout the case to ensure that their losses are documented, that witnesses are located, and that the insurance companies have a thorough understanding of how their insured’s negligence has impacted our clients’ lives.

Injuries caused by motor vehicle collisions affect not only our client’s physical health and well-being, but can often impact a person’s employment. Being injured in a motor vehicle collision can implicate an employer’s obligation to accommodate individuals with temporary or permanent disabilities, and to provide time off for care or treatment under the Family and Medical Leave Act. However, simply being injured may not be enough for you to have those protections. We are experienced in assisting our clients to meet their obligations in notifying their employers of their conditions, which in turn obligates an employer to comply with these laws.
